James R. Leverette
Beginning his executive search career in 1988,
Mr. Leverette has been responsible for providing professional
representation and guidance in all areas of the retained executive
search process.
He has successfully represented both public
and privately held companies spanning traditional industry
and technology sectors in the process of finding and attracting
highly talented candidates on a worldwide basis. This includes
Board members, C-Level executives and their direct reports,
as well as General Managers and Vice Presidents in all functional
and technical areas.
In addition to his work with top Fortune 500
organizations, his search practice includes supporting emerging
growth, pre-IPO and venture capital funded start-up companies.
As a certified personnel consultant, he is experienced in
both functional and behavioral-based interviewing, evaluation
and leadership assessment. These abilities are underscored
by a strong specialization in conducting classic
research-driven executive search that is both systematic and
industry-wide.
Finally, James is a recognized
thought leader on a broad range of topics covering current
business conditions, trends in leadership, executive hiring
and compensation related matters. He has published numerous
articles and has been interviewed for his viewpoints by such
prominent publications as The Wall Street Journal, CareerJournal
(from The Wall Street Journal), The Dallas Morning News, Dallas
Business Journal and Workindex - The Human Resource Magazine.
In addition, he has been a monthly columnist and requested
writer for The Technology Magazine that has circulation covering
the states of California, Colorado, Illinois and Texas.

Vice President of THE
BROADMOOR
GROUP,
L.L.C., an international, U.S. based retained executive
search consultancy.
Outside of his business consulting
and advisory role he is an active Partner in Dallas Social
Venture Partners, a venture philanthropy organizationfollowed
by membership on the Tech Titans Committee and Executive Advisory
Council for the Center for Executive Options.
